CURRENT MISSION

I am currently travelling through India with my partner Dan. We will then be heading to South West Europe (maybe Portugal or Spain) and volunteering on farms on our way back to the UK

ABOUT ME

I am outgoing, friendly, determined and independent. I am a life-long vegetarian - though happy with a vegan diet also. Before heading to India I worked with adults with complex communication needs in a day centre and at their home. I enjoy cooking meals, making jams/chutneys/mustards/wine/beer, decorating, planting seeds or bulbs and foraging. I come from a large family and enjoy company but also quiet time when things get too much. I love coming to new places and discovering new cultures and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I have an organic, eco-friendly outlook on life. And I am hoping to develop new skills that I can take away with me for future to help make my lifestyle more ‘green’, whilst gather more knowledge and experiences that will improve my already acquired skills. This is something Dan and I are both trying to achieve on our travels.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently cannot host anyone as I am travelling but will be very happy to do so when I return! I'm looking for some great experiences with some lovely people where we can share ideas and opinions on anything and everything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed across Europe in several countries including Holland, Denmark, Germany and Hungary. Each place has been different but all have been lovely!

Interessen

Cycling, yoga, cooking, live music, reading, nature, hiking, gardening, permaculture, sustainable living, eco buildings and mostly experiencing new cultures and meeting new people!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy all sorts of music! In particular, folk, acoustic but also jazz and big band music too. Live music is always the best though!
I really love reading. It is a personal favourite hobby of mine, though I rarely get the chance to! I will read almost any book and then decide afterwards whether I like it or not.

Travelled around, either on my own, with friends or with my partner Dan! I've always had the best time and met so many incredible people and learnt so much about their culture, family and lifestyle! Very lucky
