ABOUT ME

My partner Claire and I are easy going, open minded, quirky, artistic types who like to immerse ourselves in new cultures, meet new people, laugh and share stories.

We left the UK in 2010 and we spent 3 years in New Zealand and Australia managing some beautiful properties and working the festival circuit.

We have been living in Bangkok, Thailand for 4 years where we both work as teachers. We love life in Thailand and we have met many wonderful people who have turned into long term friends.

We have continued to travel whilst living in South-East Asia and we are always up for meeting new people in different places around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you would like to be treated and enjoy life as its just too bloody short.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have met some great people through couch-surfing and we think its an excellent way to meet people from different countries. We have also used other agencies such as Helpx and Wwoofing as which has allowed us to make a contribution to local communities and learn new skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The universe has been very kind to us and we have managed to travel the world and live in some amazing places. Personal highlight would be living in a van for 10 months taking in the landscapes of New Zealand. We fell in love with living by the ocean and we now consider Australia to be our second home!
