ABOUT ME

To really get to know me, I have to stay on your Couch! But in the meantime a little about me.

As I am currently lacking a profile pic I am tall, blonde, blue eyed, and have a big smile, really, need I say more?!

I like to think that I am a friendly, easy going person. I am cheerful and like to have a laugh. I do my best to make the best out of any situation, although that is sometimes a tad challenging.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to go with the flow and see what happens. Being decisive, but flexible is important, as is taking pleasure in the simple things in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am bringing a little bit of Australia to Europe. I am travelling around being myself and sharing my stories of home and travels. I hope to host when I get back and prove that kangaroos don't live in my backyard, but there are plenty of birds and possums.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Was recently in a share house when a couch surfer rocked up. Was a genuinely nice guy and was really friendly. Was able to look after himself, but also blended into the house really well. Came out on a night on the town with us and boogied on down. Was really good fun to have someone who was up for a dance, join in the fun and bond with the house.

Interests

I play Ultimate Frisbee, not very well, but I enjoy the sport and the social nature of it. I also enjoy cooking and will often host dinner parties with friends followed by a round of Pictionary! I enjoy watching the odd game of sport, preferably at the stadium (the atmosphere is great) and very much enjoy the simple things in life, like a quality beer in the sun. I enjoy the beach and going for walks, exploring new places and trying new things. I have also been known to spend an entire day watching Family Guy, and sometmes just taking it slow is the best thing ever.

Music, Movies, and Books

Always an ever changing taste and always depends on what mood I'm in but have recently enjoyed Inglorious Basterds and Valentines Day. See the difference in tastes?! Music is both old school rock and pop as well as the new stuff. Generally don't know what it is, just enjoy listening to it. Also love Jazz and Big band Stuff. As for books, have been getting into Clive Cussler as well as other trashy adventure novels. But again, will follow recommendations and find myself reading all sorts of stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life. Life is full of amazing things to see and do. How can I narrow it down to one? I took a ride on a giant mechanical elephant the other day. That was an amazing feat of engineering. I played in a beach tournament before I started travelling. That was amazingly fun weekend.
