About Me
I love meeting new people and learning from them. I am a language coach, interpreter, translator, and artist. I grew up in the US and now live in China.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have joined Couchsurfing to get closer to people outside of my own community yet part of the global community. I want to challenge my daily norms and ways of thinking, as well as form friendships across national borders.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like house music, hip-hop, folk, and electronic. Documentaries are always on my movie list. I enjoy reading non-fiction stuff ranging from critical race theory to Beijing opera and bilingual parenting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a summer taking hip hop dance classes in Shanghai, and learned some Shanghainese along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I welcome the sharing of crafting skills, dance techniques, languages, and hilarious stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my nascent cooking skills, language practice in English and/or Mandarin, and unending gratitude.
