Also, I hopped a freight train in Salt Lake City in 1979 with two hobos who hand-rolled cigarettes on a windy flatcar and loved the hell out of my Orowheat bread and Laura Scudders peanut butter which back then were the most natural types of bread and p-but you could find. Felt like part of a woody Guthrie song and a Jack Kerouac story.
I also hopped a freight from Guadalajara to Tijuana with some teenagers who sniffed glue (I didn't)
