Overview
About Me
I'm a young guy from Scotland who loves to travel. I've just finished a year at uni but I'm taking a gap year (or two) to see a bit of the world. I'm sociable, easy going and am really keen to meet new people while I'm on the move.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm travelling in the balkans and am keen to meet some cool people as I'm passing through.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very mixed taste in music. I really like 70's stuff (thanks to my dad) like Stevie Wonder and Prince and also like more modern groups like the vaccines and Biffy Clyro. My favourite movies are Fight club, Django unchained and Superbad. My favourite book is "To kill a mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mount Olympus. Maybe not "amazing" but it's one of my more notable achievements.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied English at university so I'm more than happy to help anyone improve theirs. I'm also a fully qualified first aider so I can also teach those skills. I run a blog about climate change (ross-blog.com) and so I have a good understanding of setting up websites etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very interested in politics, history, science and sociology. I'm easy going and I like to think I'm fun to hang out with.
Countries I’ve Visited
Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Wales
