Overview
About Me
Happy with my traditional wooden flute in hand and good friends around. I enjoy the simpler sort of things. Back to basic rather than sophistication. My rural roots are always with me. Give me a wild beach, sunrise over the harbour, wondering in the bush across the road and I am happy.
I live with my husband of 17 years. Enjoy our children when they visit. (mostly) I’m not a great fan of technology. Give me a handshake, some eye to eye talking and end it with a hug of a friendship made.
Grow up dyslexic as a child before dyslexia was recognized so do not expect perfect grammar and spelling.
Oh, you also need to know I prefer to live naked. Work does not allow it so home is my naked place. This is not a sexual thing just a way to be free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people. Giving accommodation so that more people can travel and enjoy the world. Allow different energies to pass through my home. Talk, drink and enjoy the view of the harbour together. Sit back and enjoy the fire. Hear what you have discover in the world and add my stories to the mix. So yes I want to meet you, not just show you where you can sleep and put the bedding away wondering who you were and what your name was.
And as a traveller I am hoping for the same. To enter you home not your house. To meet you the person not the host.
Interests
People and their story’s.
As I said above I’m a naturist so I am often naked at home , expect me to be enjoying breakfast naked in morning and sitting naked in the evening . I find nakedness brings a deeper level of honesty and openness. So if you come to stay this could be your opportunity to give it a go. If you are seeking accommodation please say how you feel about causal nudity and you willingness to join me, it will help me choose between guests.
I recently discovered traditional American flutes and love them. The freedom to allow my deep voice expression is so good for my soul.
A couple of years ago we acquired some land out of town, I have 11 sheep, planted 500 trees last winter and I
I love to have time in my vegetable garden.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: It is easier to say that I am not into science fiction or massive special effects. Give me good English drama. A story that is real if not true. Or one that takes me on a flight of delightful fantasy. Do not expect me to be able to name directors or actors.
Books are a recent delight as I have come to master some of my dyslexic issues. Again a good novel with great character development of believable characters. Just finished ‘Sixteen trees of the Somme' by Lars Mytting and 'The Hearts Invisible Furies' by John Boyne, add to this "A Gentleman in Moscow" which is a pure delight to read.
Music. Give me simple folk instrumentals. Ballads that tell good tails. It is the story they tell, the places the music takes me that matters rather then orthodox musical style or technique.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Danced a tango with Cancer at age 46 which has aged me beautifully like a good single malt whiskey.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to make space for guests to be them selves.
