About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Small is Beautiful

ABOUT ME

An "Infinite Goof" that embraces imperfection, Helplessly hopeful but often uncertain, observing this all unfold, which Timothy Speed Levitch calls "The Cruise", trying to undo the me that says "I want" with the same conviction as "I need", and pursuing the life that was denied to me by my parents when I was handed a hockey stick rather than tap-shoes. I'm still shopping for the right size but at least I am in the marketplace.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know how personal MY philosophy is. I am young and am aware I must follow before I lead. But two things I once heard that I liked go something like this, "Be a mensch" and "We are all just fartin' around, anybody who tells you otherwise is full of shit"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Old oommate had an account for a bit. We hosted some wonderful people from all over, inspiring me to join. Hitchhiked the US for 3 months and never enjoyed sleeping on a couch more in my life (however CS was not used as much as I hope I was blessed to meet friends and friends of friends and so on...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deserts, Rain forests, Mountains, Cities, Ruins. But Minor things and events often leave me more amazed than the big ones. For example, I was more impressed by an impromptu performance of female jazz singers in a little basement in Paris than watching the sunrise at Macchu Picchu. A stranger on my way to class walking up to me and telling me that he loves Jerry Springer and expressing his anxieties that strangers do not laugh with one another enough was more memorable than zip-lining in Costa Rica. Little things are very important to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to share my love of dancing and singing with others. Turn off the television, turn off the radio. :Sing along to songs you don't know, that youll never know until you sing along."

I'd like to learn how play instruments. I'm working on guitar but still. Recently have developed interest in mask-making, so maybe we can exchange : )
