HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate had our house on couchsurfing.org, summer of 2011, and we hosted quite a few couch surfers. Hosting was wonderful and I very much support the idea. I believe it to be an embracing of hope and trust in humanity and pretty fun besides.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was as a host. I hosted a friend of a friend from a neighboring city. He was very conscientious. He was always helping out around the house. He showed me that if you are willing to shift your focus you can see amazing parts of the world and meet wonderful people. I have surfed many a couch and hosted people from around the world since then!

Food. I really, really like it. I have been actively learning about cooking and how to eat well for about two years now and it never ceases to be fun, offer more to learn, and create positivity.

I am interested by gardening, permaculture design, non-violent communication, eastern and western philosophy and spirituality, laughing, singing, dancing, being creative, love, being still, being quiet, balance, chakra work, community, yoga, acroyoga, teaching, learning, and play.
