About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a relaxed, optimistic and easy going person. A total child spirit and a bit of a goofball. I have a pretty weird, corky sense of humor and often find myself singing something or other under my breath. I usually have a really easy time getting along with people although sometimes in large groups I can get a little introverted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently looking for a place to stay longish term in or around Brunswick, Melbourne, Vic. When I have my own place, I'd love to host

Interests

My favorite hobby is rock climbing. I have been climbing for about three years and think it's the coolest combination of sport and adventure ever. I also enjoy mountain biking and hiking. Would love to go sailing and surfing when I get a chance. I also love camping, eating (sometimes I'll even cook!) and reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend and I climbed the first pitch of the Nose (2% of a 1km vertical climb) in Yosemite, California as our last climb before we drove home from our weekend trip. We got to the first ledge just above the base of the climb just as the sun was setting. The reflection of the sunset off the rock lit the whole valley in golden light, and as we looked up to the summit, we saw a couple of climbers arriving at the summit. The scene was absolutely breathtaking.

One year, for my birthday, my Uncle got one of his friends to take me out in his glider. The silence that comes when we dropped the tow line after take off was incredible. Gave such an amazing sensation of being alone!

Snorkeling in Hawaii and finding cool animals like sea turtles and octopi in the coral. The abundance of life in so many different shapes and colours is amazing.
