Currently in LA planning to get back to Asia for a few months this winter.

ABOUT ME

Cuisine is my passion, connecting with people is my life. I am a passionate cook looking to broaden my skills into healthy cuisine. I have developed a strong clientele base of 6-7 week personal chef contracts around the world and always pursuing new and exciting clients to cook for. It's my belief that you should love what you do for a living and I truly do. I live a very unique lifestyle as many times my clients pull me to exotic and remote parts of the world as part of the job. The perks are amazing but I really enjoy integrating into the local community and enjoy having friends all over the world.

VIEW OF THE WORLD

I realized if my journey isn't as unique as my fingerprint, i'm likely to give in to societies ideals of 'normal' resulting in a cookie-cutter existence.

LESSONS I LIVE BY

Just like the tiny maple seed that grows into a giant maple tree, every cook (youth) represents immeasurable potential waiting to be tapped. “Every human has 50 productive working years from 20 – 70 and should invest the first 10 to learning.” David Schwartz.

MY BELIEF

One thing always leads to another, even if there was a road map to life I wouldn't take it. Without dead-end roads you only get half the map. Knowing what not to do is oftentimes more valuable when learning and developing a craft.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to this community but love the selflessness of it. Would like to give back by inviting my friends from abroad to join in and hope to eventually host in my next home where ever that may end up. I prefer staying with people who have incite into the ins and outs of a city as often times they save travellers from the tourist TRAPS! I also enjoy meeting new people and having friends all over the world I visit when in town.
