About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy this life that I am busy making

ABOUT ME

The saying goes "life is what happens when we are busy making other plans" but I like all of you other whimsical travelers have decided to live my life in observance of each powerful moment.

I travel for reasons I cannot accurately explain anymore so I wont bore you. I do know that I enjoy and have an aptitude for languages but most value communication unspoken. I like learning about Man and how kindred we can be if only our adolescent values are put aside. I don't know about God but meeting his many faces enraptures me. I know that time is a construct of man, I know that being footloose erodes that construct;I guess this is why travel intrigues me. I know that there are 25 minutes at the end of some days where the suns rays take on a mango glow, shadows run longer than time, the sky becomes cobalt blue, a toenail clipping of a moon hangs, and it feels as if the world has grown more still just for you... Given the choice, I would choose these 25 minutes over infinite wealth and everlasting life.

I like life, it has been good to me for the past 20-some years, suffering can be a part of life, I try to enjoy that part of it too.

I only have one wish which is that my name started with a 'P' as in pterodactyl.

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to get mired in the muddiness of life. Life has many lessons, and she teaches them in innumerable ways. I attempt to enjoy being her student, through the hard a the easy courses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive been to a few CS gatherings,Hong Kong, Hainan Island, and a few here in Boise as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS has really been a benefit to my travel life and even my now boring real world life. I have been traveling around quite a bit over the past years and have meet some really generous CS hosts all over the world. Now back in the US my move to Boise was made possible by the kindness of a few CS hosts. A lot has changed on CS but it is still a wonderful place to meet great people.

Interests

I travel by bicycle and cycle touring is a true passion. This year I have cycled nearly double the amount I have flown.

My interests change just as often as most others interests change... All things cycling and anything done in the mountains really gets me excited.
