ABOUT ME

I'm confident and outward-going (unless I'm tired), positive and energetic, I enjoy meeting new people and trying out new things. I teach English as a foreign language, and am interested in almost all kinds of music. I love reading, eating, cooking, history and culture, nature, being physically active, and I'm a huge languages geek.

PHILOSOPHY

First, do no harm. Open-minded, accepting of other people's views and philosophies, willing to try out new things but don't want to be pressured into anything.If I can help someone, I generally will. We're here to make other people's lives easier, and enjoy ourselves. Or something like that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm more of a daytime person, I like to keep busy, but I'm not very good at late nights - I generally fall asleep around midnight!I like to drink a little but not very much. I enjoy being active during the day and chilling out a bit in the evening. I'm chatty and (I hope!) easy to spend time with - people tell me I'm interesting and funny, I hope they're telling the truth!

Interests

I love food and always try to sample as much of the local cuisine as I can when I visit somewhere new. I like seeing the sights but also value getting off the tourist trail and seeing behind the scenes into what keeps a place going. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy going to museums and art galleries, and I also have a weak spot for languages - always trying to learn the next few words and phrases!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll watch almost anything except horror. I like reading a wide variety of different kinds of fiction. I was brought up with classical music and love it, but also enjoy lots of other stuff too.
