I’m from the Netherlands, where I live in Amsterdam, together with my cat. Traveling is for me a way to find myself and find new friends. I have travelled in New Zealand and Brazil, and some countries in Europe, but I want to see a lot more of the world. It’s addictive!
I’m an artistic person, always drawing and painting and hope to make a living out of that one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because when I travel I like to experience the real culture and meet locals. I don’t just want to be a tourist and see the touristic highlights, but feel like I’m living in the county’s I’m visiting. Also it’s a great way to meet interesting people. This is why I also volunteer when traveling. It is a great way to give something back. I’ve volunteered with many family’s, farms, etc in New Zealand and in Brazil I stayed at an English school, teaching English.
