I enjoy having my horizens broadened, discovering different mind-sets and realising that the human family is not so different from each other after all!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met some sparkling couch surfer members in Newcastle, hosted some fascinating folk and had the best New Year at Berlin Winter Camp.

A wide variety of books(After all I teach literature for a living!) From the classics, e.g.Wuthering Heights,Shakespeare-to modern lit-The Kiterunner.Also love history books-especially about Berlin.
music makes my world go round-techno-electro and minimal, a smattering of house, indie and good ol'pop!
Movies-trying to improve my German I've seen some great German ones-Run lola Run,Die Fetten Jahre Sind Vorbei,Lives Of Others.

Danced on a dj truck at the Fuck parade in Berlin.Jumped into a freezing lake in Finland after a sauna.Watched the most beautiful sunrise with good friends at a beach party.Berlin winter camp.
