Ethnically Indian, lived & worked in many places in Europe, now living in Slovakia. I am quiet muti-cultural by nature, owing to my wide exposure to the different cultures of the world. Effectively our home is the literal melting pot of world cultures, languages, values and faiths.

I don't have a CS experience yet, since its not long that I've been active in this forum. However, I'm hoping to have a positive experience :)

Intellectual, subaltern literature/history and philosophy are my passions.. World cinema, music and extensive travelling keeps me alive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films made by Werner Herzog, Jean Luc Godard, Jafar Panahi, Abbas Kierostami, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Emir Kusturica, Aki Kaurismaki and Jim Jarmusch... I don't watch Bollywood, but I do watch a lot of parallel cinema made by Indian non-mainstream film makers, and I love their works a lot!

Music: Well, everything. I have a large collection of Indian Classical Music and Jazz. I still like to rock on jambands stuff sometimes, although I'm too old to rock and roll. ;).. I like electronic and dub stuff too.

I like to read books mostly on philosophy and comparative religion.. like Mircea Eliade, Carl Jung, J. Krishnamurti. I also like stuff written by Carlos Castaneda, Haruki Murakami etc... I am a big fan of Jean Baudrillard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did amaze myself several times in my life.. I wouldn't like to be dramatic about it in a forum, but would certainly like to do some story telling over a drink :D
