CURRENT MISSION

We're heading to Spain to complete the northern route of the Camino while periodically climbing. After the Camino? More climbing! And meet rad people and exploit all of the food and beverages of the country!

ABOUT ME

We're an active couple who love to be outside and rock climb! We're laid back, friendly people who love tasty beer! Chris's likes: pickles, mountains, and more beer. Jen's interests: my dog-child Marlow, rummage/yard sales, and sweet potato fries!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and learn, get outside, meet some people, and have some fun!

Jen: How to Train Your Dragon, Of Monsters and Men, The Brief History of the Dead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jen: Climbing a beautiful nine pitch climb in Red Rocks, Nevada. It was a 16 hour day including meeting four other climbing parties, ropes getting stuck, getting lost, hitch hiking back to camp, and a dinner of pb&j's; chocolate, tecate, and leftover pizza... one of the most memorable days of my life!

Chris: A few summers ago some of my Alaskan friends and I went on a climbing trip down in Yosemite. Before going into the valley we were driving thru Lodi and stopped in the skydiving drop zone. Lodi is home to of the cheapest drop zone in the US. Eager to get our adrenaline going before getting to the big walls of Yosemite we opted to enroll in there AFF coarse. Waking up in the hanger the next morning was unlike anything I ever experienced. The bright California sun was a welcoming sight combined with sounds airplane engines and the strong smell of jet fuel. After a few hour coarse we were ready to fly. I went from being totally gripped to one of the most spiritual experiences of my life in less than a few seconds. I ended up jumping 15 times in our 3 day stay in that Airplane hanger and can't wait until I can get into the sky again.
