ABOUT ME

Hey there! My name is Samuli (friends call me Sam) and I come from Finland. At the moment I am 24 years old and currently studying hospitality and restaurant management in Tampere and working in a brewery. I just love travelling, there's always plans about new trips in my head. I guess it's because of the feeling when you are on a road again, what makes me love travelling. Also you meet new people and have great adventures!

In my freetime I do many many different things. At the moment the ones closest to my heart include ice-swimming, brewing my own beers, Kung Fu and hanging out with my friends. I am also currently training for triathlon and spartan race! I love nature and do hiking, camping, fishing etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to offer persons a good couch and company and also get known to people and different cultures by both surfing and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been doing this for a while now and have had some great experiences and met amazing people who have definitely had a positive impact in my life. I've met some of my absolut best friends through Couchsurfing!

音乐、电影和书籍

I am able to listen every kind of music and bands which are good for me. It depends on my mood. On one minute I want to listen reggae and on other one metal.

I like movies but I don't have any favourite type of movie, they are good or not which I will decide after I have watched the movie. I don't have any liking difference between comedy or action or any other movies. So practically I can watch everything.

Books have the same thing. If the idea is interesting then I can read anything. There are no genres that I don't like. At the moment I read mostly English novels and about Chinese medicine.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I saw the volcano Stromboli at a night time and it was collapsing. We were very close to it, only one kilometer from the shore by boat.
