About Me
My profile is quite out of date but I like to see how I was back then. My tastes evolved a bit, my life also, but the profile is still quite acurate. But I'll keep the updated version for when we meet.
ABOUT ME
I'm a french guy, recently moved to Switzerland to be closer to the mountains. Since then, I'm always in the mountains to do ski touring, mountaineering build igloos or whatever else one can do in the mountains.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started surfing in summer 2010 during my trip across USA. Only positive encounters so far.
Interests
Bikes: I commute by bike since I'm a kid, repaired bikes as a teenager and now I'm building bikes.
Traveling: give me more time and i'll travel more
Hockey: played until I was 18
Cinema: I watch tons of movies, from good Schwarzenegger movies to classical italian ones, everything but french films.
Outside world (that's probably not the way to say it): hiking, mountain biking, camping, swimming, backcountry skiing, tree climbing, igloo building...

Music, Movies, and Books
Divorzio all'italiana is my favorite picture right now, but at some point in my life it was La meglio gioventu, before that Il Sorpasso, before that The Player, before that Full Metal Jacket, before that Midnight Cowboy before that Forrest Gump (i probably forgot a lot of them)
I love very different music styles. I listen to some French and Italian folk singers, electronic, Hip Hop, french rap, classical music... and David Bowie.
One of the most intense book i read was Martin Eden by Jack London. One of the most beautiful is War and Peace by Tolstoi. My favorite author is George Simenon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once scared a (small) bear off, more than he scared me, in Yosemite national park.
I once caught a (small) caiman bare handed in Peru
Teach, Learn, Share
I know quite a bit about bikes. I even built my own bamboo bike.
I know quite a bit about mountaineering/ski touring.
