Overview
About Me
I am a lifelong traveler and student! Canadian who has just scratched the surface of the places I would like to see. Currently a visiting professor near New Delhi. I like pretty much anything to do with the outdoors, but I am also a fan of wandering strange streets at night.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is so much more fun if you have a chance to meet new people along the way. I often prefer hostels for this reason. It will be my first time couchsurfing but I am looking forward to it! I also like the idea of introducing someone else to my city. I love this idea of an alternative economy, based on curiosity and sharing exchanges and openness to inviting strangers into your life, along with the perspectives you can swap.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I am pretty eclectic actually, I can enjoy most kinds of music
Books: Patricia Highsmith, Margaret Atwood, Octavia Butler, and many, many more (reading is a big part of philosophy)
TV shows: House of Cards, Top of the Lake, Supernatural, X-Files, Outlander, Another Period
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just trekked my first Himalayan mountains in Uttarakhand this fall and I want to do more! I want to improve my rock climbing skills and become a weather-beaten, gravity-defying mountain goat.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love discussing philosophy and politics!
I also can teach you how to do the cups beat from the Pitch Perfect "Cups" song.
I would be interested to learn about your perspectives and your city.
