About Me
Hey Peoples!! I left my life behind in June under the philosophy of, Well why not. I am living in a sprinter van that I have built into a camper van, and am now on a 2-year road trip all the way down to the bottom of South America. I was a nurse back home in Australia using my annual leave to try and explore the world, seen about 40 countries, but it was just never enough. Currently in cabo, Hoping to cross from La Paz into mainland mexico around the 17th. I like hiking, taking photos, good friends, storytelling and appreciate good banter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Swapping a backpack and hostels for a van has been an incredible change of pace and a new found freedom. However meeting of all sorts of different people is surely one of the best parts of travel, and that's a little hard. I started this trip, and have built my van with the idea of accommodating others. From friends and family who will be joining me on different legs of the trip to randoms, strangers and you? If you can chip in for diesel, food, and be willing to navigate, the passenger seat and the open road is yours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I travel I'm generally pretty open to "immersing myself in the culture" and that sometimes leads to gatecrashing events. Whether it's making dance circles at Indian weddings, attending a gypsy circumcision party, or starting my own arm wrestling "fight club" at a funeral. All not as bad, and some much worse than they sound.
