Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm heading to Lowell, Vermont in March, to apprentice at The Monastic Academy. I'm traveling by train and I'm hoping to find folks to put me up before and after my stay there as I explore the NE for the first time!

Music, Movies, and Books

Tastes vary wildly but I always come back to jazz, folk and blues, though Death Grips will always have a special place in my heart. Been listening to a lot of traditional Chinese music recently.

Not well versed in film but been enjoying almost everything A24 puts out recently. Generally like bizzare or surrealist stuff; Lynch, Tarkovsky, etc.

I read a lot of philosophy and theory-fiction, though I also love sci-fi. Favorites include: Cyclonopedia, The Dispossessed, The Symposium

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got briefly lost in the Amazon while studying abroad in Ecuador. Though this wasn't intentional, it ended up being a really cool, if scary, experience.
