About Me

Originally from Alexandria, living and working in Cairo, I’m currently preparing for my first-ever solo trip outside Egypt—and it’s taking me through Europe! My journey will take me to Paris, Strasbourg, Italy, and finally Spain. I’m excited to go with the flow as much as possible.

I would describe myself as outgoing, adventurous, and always up for trying something new. I’m flexible and easy-going, happy to adapt to different situations, and I love meeting people from all walks of life. A big smile is always on my face, and tea is my go-to drink—so I’d be happy to prepare some for you if we meet! I believe the best way to learn is through shared experiences, and I’m looking forward to meeting amazing people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve joined Couchsurfing because I’m passionate about meeting new people and sharing meaningful conversations. Every person has a unique story to tell, and I love learning about their perspectives, cultures, and ways of living. It’s not just about finding a place to stay for me—it’s about building connections, exchanging experiences, and creating memories together.

I’m genuinely curious about the world and how different people express themselves, whether it’s through their work, lifestyle, or simply the way they talk about their day. I’m always interested in learning something new, and Couchsurfing seems like the perfect way to do that.

*What I’m Looking for in a Host*

I’m hoping to connect with hosts who are open to cultural exchanges and enjoy sharing their city with travelers. I’m especially interested in learning about local food, customs, and traditions. If you love cooking, we can definitely cook together! I’d love to share Egyptian food with you, and since I rarely finish a full meal by myself, there’s always plenty to go around.

Beyond food, I’m curious about how people live and work in different parts of the world. Learning about different work styles, habits, and ways of life is something that truly fascinates me, and I’d love to gain insights from my hosts.

*My Travel Goals*

During this trip, I’m looking to immerse myself in the natural beauty and historical richness of each place I visit. I love exploring cities on foot, getting lost in the streets, and discovering hidden gems. I’m also a big fan of music, especially traditional and cultural music, so I hope to learn more about the music scene in each country I visit. If you play any instruments or enjoy music as much as I do, I’d love to jam or attend a concert together!

I’m hoping this trip will allow me to slow down, absorb the local vibes, and learn more about the history and culture of the places I visit. I’m also open to spontaneous adventures—if you have a favorite place or activity in your city, I’d love to hear about it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m a lover of all kinds of music, from classical to modern, but I have a special appreciation for cultural and traditional music. If you’re a musician or performer, I’d love to experience your performance, especially if you play drums!

When it comes to movies and books, I don’t stick to one genre. I watch and read depending on my mood. Some days I enjoy deep, thought-provoking films and books, while other times, I just want something light and fun. I’m always open to recommendations, so feel free to share your favorites with me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done amazing solo trips in Egypt. Including hiking, ziplining, snorkeling, and diving.

It's amazing nature I'd love to introduce it to you one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach crafts like crochet or origami, and I’m learning to play the drums. I’d love to share stories, experiences, and my food with you. Fun fact: I rarely finish a full meal on my own, so there’s always enough to share!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe in the value of mutual exchange. I’m happy to share my stories, insights into Egyptian culture, and any experiences I’ve had along the way. I can also teach you some fun crafts like crochet or origami, and if you’re interested in learning about supply chain management or project management, I’d be happy to share my knowledge.

I’m learning how to play the drums, so if you’re a musician or just love music, we can definitely bond over that. I’d love to learn more about different types of music, and if you’re up for it, maybe we can have a little jam session!

I enjoy deep conversations and getting to know people beyond the surface level. Whether it’s chatting about life, exchanging travel tips, or sharing cultural perspectives, I’m all in. I also love dancing and wouldn’t mind sharing a dance or two with you if that’s something you enjoy.
