About Me

A general and brief summary of me would be a twenty year old from England, currently working as a waitress and soon to be studying Zoology at Liverpool John Moores University after taking a two year gap year.

From 3rd May until I run out of money, I'm going to be travelling around South East Asia. The Mecca of backpackers. I've got my one way ticket to Bangkok and I'm winging it from there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet awesome people! The ones kind enough to open up their homes and take time out of their day to show someone around where they get to call home.

Nothing sounds more exciting and adventurous than staying with someone that starts off as a stranger and ends up as a friend. It sounds like an awesome experience and one which I want to be able to share with you!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: When God was a Rabbit and The Lovely Bones

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To this date, the most amazing thing I've done was follow through with an idea which I had been brewing for a while, to becomean au-pair.

So I found a job, booked my flight and went on to having the best three months of my life. I made some incredible memories and some even more so friends which I had the privilege to share them with.

Would I do it again? Absolutely not. But I'm sure glad I did.

Teach, Learn, Share

With English being my first and only language, I can teach and share that. Having been an Au-Pair, whose prime job is to teach English, I've proven to be very bad at it. But with a can-do attitude, I'll give it a go... again

I would also share traditional British cuisine which, true to stereotype, is boringly bland.
