Overview
About Me
Im a caring, curious and creative soul, sometimes mischievous... currently taking time away from New Zealand to connect with old friends and make new ones while resting, reflecting and learning after a busy few years.
I'm ever involved in grassroots activism - mainly in ecological justice movements and cooperative community projects. I have an ongoing interest in how more compassionate, creative and equitable practices can be learnt in these spaces. I really love the energy of people working for change when everyone's creative input and experience is valued.
I find joy in drawing, dancing, gardening, playing music, poetry, the company of friends, cycling. I'm remembering how important it is for me to go for adventures in wilder nature and trying to do this more... it used to be central in my life but I slowly got busy with other things. Meditation is grounding for me, as is writing, being in my body, having openhearted conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel I like to stay with people, so that our lives can mingle even briefly and be changed. I love meeting and sharing.
I've done a lot of unofficial couchsurfing, with friends and friends of friends, and my goal is ever to make life easier for my hosts than if I wasn't there. I really like to cook, tidy, generally help out (if this is wanted/needed... I can be very self contained too!)

Music, Movies, and Books
Ones that take my imagination somewhere, teach me things, challenge me, and move me. Preferably all at once.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I really don't like these questions. life feels constantly both extraordinary and totally ordinary. One amazing thing? I grew into an adult human who feels and thinks and relates and dreams, from just two cells that merged 30 years ago. And one of those cells was once inside my grandmother.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to teach, learn, share about where my interests and skills meet yours. what's described above and no doubt much more.
