About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn from others.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty relaxed and easy-going. I do like to listen to people to hear of everyone's experiences. Love to travel but don't really enjoy doing it alone as I think people you meet make the places.

PHILOSOPHY

Hard question. I guess I leave myself in the hands of fate and sort of allow myself to be shaped by others. In the sense that I take ideas I like from others adding them to my own philosophy. I live through my friends and family, music and dance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a helpful guy and am aware of other people. I offer to do all the washing up (you'll probably have to remind me to fulfill this offer). I'll do whatever is asked and can cook a few meals but quality is still set at student standard so don't expect Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to couchsurfing so would love to try it out and learn how it all works for the time being!

Interests

I spend most of my time listening to music as well as playing the piano, drums and guitar. I do like to play some sports, particularly football whilst following most sports in my spare time. I do like to dance which reminds me that recently I saw an old woman in her 70s wearing a bright purple shirt saying 'Life is short, Dance often', one of the coolest shirts I've ever seen! ha! I enjoy reading lots of books by writers such as Mario Vargas Llosa, John Steinbeck and Milan Kundera to name a few. I do like to meet people and travel and this site seems to be great for that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing a comedy rap song with my cousin for my secondary school's charity gig in front of 400 people, the adrenaline rush was awesome. An awesome view in Burundi, witnessing little windows in the fog shrouded hills enlightening deep valleys below us until the cloud cleared to reveal a massive rift valley looking down on Bujumbura and Lake Tanganyika.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning about human nature and the meaning of life as well as learning Spanish. I can offer all I have learnt to anyone.
