Hi,

My name is Roxane, and I am a chemical engineer. I am currently doing a PhD in Grenoble, on a cell encapsulation technique that aims at curing diabete. I studied in Rouen, and come from Bayonne.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have known Couch surfing for a long time, and have hosted surfers first via my sister's account (when we still lived at our parents'), and then since I live in Grenoble with my two roomates. I think it's great way to meet people of different cultures, make them discover our city (and vice versa), exchange on points of views, ways of living, or even just help out surfers for one night or two.

Interests

I love music, I have studied piano, singing and trumpet for approximately 10 years in Bayonne. I also really enjoy mountain sports (hiking, rock climbing, via ferrata), especially since I live in Grenoble. I also practice, squash, skiing and trail running.
