ABOUT ME

People said that I am a Jack in the box!
If I have to discribe myself, I will say: something in between an octopus and a racoon.

I have a lot of friends in a lot of different groups, but I don't fit in any of them because I always had my own way to analyze the world around me. I'm honest and I try to be true to myself as much as I can.

Hey by the way, sorry if there is a lot of mistakes in this description! I'm not good with writing in English!
I don't have any Facebook...

I'm a loyal friend. I think it is easy to talk with me about a lot of subjects. I try to avoid judgment... but it is hard, because everyone judge and saying that you don't is a lie...
I am very sensitive and sometime I react a bit hard, but I will always explain why and I'm trying to show both side of a situation.

I like to discover and I always need to do something: visiting old disused shop, dumpster dive, playing board game, making food with friends, ect.
I'm not a party person anymore even if I used to be: it's hard to follow the people around me because I stopped drinking ten years ago. That's why I always want to do some activities!

I like when people show me new places or a new activities! I like to try things I never did.

I loved to talk about languages. So if you are learning french, it will be my pleasure to help you.
I learned english by talking with people in their car when I was hitchhiking.
I also studdy in Asian languages and I like to compare languages and cultures.

I'm making my own Sauerkraut, Kimchi, Kumbucha, sour dough and I want to start my own Miso, fish sauce, cheese and sour cream. I'm really in the fermented food right now, but I don't brew alcool because I don't drink anymore.

I'm always moving from place to place. That's why it's a little hard to follow me. I had 11 differents appartment in the last 10 years! Haha!
I'm always scared to be a parasit, maybe that's an other reason why I always need to do something to help.

And for vegans and vegeratirians: no I'm not, but I use to live with a lot of vegans so cooking all kind of food is realy not a problem for me!

I'm very sensible to sexual equality. I can't stand when people around act as a girl is an object or a piece of meat. That's the thing that will make me mad the most easily.
I also don't stand any racist comment. I am very interrested in Queer and anti-colonialist mouvement. So please, keep your dirty jokes for yourself.

Oh yeah and you will see: I'm always ready to do everything, but I have to wear my boots first! So give me 5 minutes ;)

By the way, I am very easy to get along with, but I find myself irritated by deeply esoteric philosophie. I'm sorry about that.

I am on couchsurf because I love to travel, but not in tge tourustic way. I mean, yeah it is fun to go to the museum once in a while, but I also like to see how people live. Plus it's a good way to meet new friends. I also like the idea of travelling witout going to a hostel. I like couch surfin because it's totaly free (almost). And because I get to enjoy those things while I travel, I'm happy to give it to someone else. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Humm... seriously, I don't understand the real meaning of this section...

But if you ask me how I participate in the place where I am, I always do a lot of dishes and when I leave your home, you will probably found something like a vegan beet cake on your table! I love to cook for everyone even if everyone means 15 persons!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ok... That's hard to say because I didn't use a lot this account for now. I host a lot of couch surfer because of my last roommates, but I didn't use a lot my own account.

When I'm travelling, I travel mostly with my tent in hitchhiking so I always meet buch of cool person on the road.
For me, couchsurfin' is the perfect way to travel in a big city. You have some people to help you to understand the personnality of the city and you can learn more about the place not just as a tourist.
I love that! Couchsurfin is always a good experience!

Music:
I like a lot of kind of music: folk, traditionnal, reggae, punk, french songs, disco (yeah I know sorry), old rock, rock-a-billy, ska and dirty folk with rough voice like Tom wait.
I love to ear mandoline, banjo, violin, melodica and accordeon! I'm not a good dancer but I don't care at all! If I feel comfortable enough I will!

Books: All Jacques Prévert's poetry, Marguerite Duras. My 2 favorite authors are Haruki Murakami and Laurent Gaudet. I also love sci-fi. My favorite author is Ursula K. Leguin.

Contact Juggling, Make fermented food, Stop Motion video, Cooking, Walking with Snow shoes, ski, Speak french, I can show a lot of cool underground place in Montreal, to identified some useful wild flowers.

I want to learn:
Swing dance, Juggling, Scuba diving, How to make latex puppet (for stop motion), Speak Japanese and madarin, How to make my own shampoo (that king of stuff...), new cooking stuff.
