Hi, we are Roque and Roxana, a Chilean couple traveling who like the local experience (much more than the touristy one!).
Some time ago we dedicated ourselves to traveling and getting to know different parts of the world. In 2022 we moved to Lisbon 🇵🇹 for more than a year, then in 2023 it was time to get to know New Zealand 🥝 and now we find ourselves in Australia 🐨 , ready to embark on an adventure through Asia!
When we were in Portugal, we took the opportunity to tour the north and south of the country, and then visited some places in Europe like Spain, Germany, Sweden, and Austria.
In New Zealand, we worked and traveled through the North and South Islands, harvesting cherries and kiwis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has given us the opportunity to connect with travelers from different places, making it possible for us to have a unique and much more local experience.
To this day, we remain friends with some of our hosts 🙂 .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When we traveled to New Zealand, we had a short visit to Hawaii, where we were welcomed by Mitch (host of couchsurfing), who took us to see almost the entire shore of the island of Oahu. While we were swimming on the beach we had an encounter with a couple of sea turtles and it was a magical experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Roque likes cooking very much, we can share a nice moment exchanging life experiences.
