About Me

I have recently quit the rat race and I now plan to just do what makes me happy instead!
There are plenty of these things! Looking after pups and kitties, walks, creating things, being with my friends, food (that's a big one)
I'm also in the process of shedding my cynicism, so am now pretty open to all kinds of new experiences. However, I can still be very sarcastic if I'm not concentrating enough!
I have previously lived fast, but my life enjoys a more leisurely pace now, and it's wonderful!
Oh but I'm pretty deaf, so if you ever think I'm being rude I probably just didn't hear you!

I have been travelling with my boyfriend and using his CS account, hence the lack of feedback!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have travelled a lot in the past, and have never been aware of couchsurfer until recently. This is a bandwagon I am keep to jump on!

The idea of sharing with other similar minded people is so appealing and it seems like a great way to meet other people, offer the benefits of my experience in Sheffield and benefit from others experience as well.

Interests

I have so many! I love music, socialising, reading, dancing, movies, crafting, helping in the community, walking in nature, camping, CATS AND DOGS!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music except heavy metal, experimental jazz and modern R&B. I would never be able to pin down a favourite band, or even genre!

I love fiction / fantasy books (and fantasy films) big adventure epics and also psychological thriller types.

Massive fan of all things comedy as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This totally depends on your definition of amazing!

In terms of emotionally ecstatic moments I had a mini festival for my birthday this year. Even though it was snowing (in APRIL!) everyone was dancing around in the woods, it was magical!

I find the fact that I own my own home pretty amazing too :) I am very lucky to do so.

I also have amazing experiencing from my travelling years; I've watched the sun rise and fall over some spectacular things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am loving all things crafty at the moment, so I've learnt how to rag rug, make my own clothes, I've started knitting recently, I enjoy cross stitching, making things out of paper mache, loads of stuff, I love it :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Having spent 12 years in Sheffield I have a pretty good knowledge of the city and what it has to offer. I'm constantly seeking out new experiencing with the city so I have a fair amount of recommendations to make, whatever people are in to!
