About Me

I am 24, from Bavaria, doing 2 Masters in Biology in Vienna.
I'm open minded and interessted in other culturs and meeting different people.

I am a bit shy and calm meeting new people but I open up quickly when my opponents are friendly and relaxed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to see the world, so I use my time as a student to viste many places. Firstly it's always more interessting to meet locals and not just hurrying from tourist sight to sight.
And secondly as a student I can only travel on a students budget. I don't like to look on every penny when it's about food and visiting attractions but I also don't like spending a lot of money on hotels where i only stay for sleeping.
It is more charming to have breakfast in a real kitchen, to plan the city tour in a real living room, to have a drink in the real local next-door-pub and in addition to a talk to nice local people during all of that.
that's why I'm CS ^_^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some very good experience with couchsurfing and Airbnb as guest! :)

Interests

I like the sea and beach better than mountains. I like cities better than living on the country. I am vegetarian, love cats and like reading and of course traveling ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I don't have a special taste of music (maybe even a bit mainstream) but I am open to all kinds to different music and I play the piano as a hobby.

MOVIES
I don't like (american) trash movies too much. I can't see all these same super-love-stories, mega-action-thrillers or over-the-top-"funny" stuff.
I love british or danish comedies (monty python, Anders Thomas Jensen).

BOOKS
I rarely read contemporary literature. I try to read some of the old classics (Goethe, Schiller, Kafka, Hesse, Tolkin...) mainly german.
But whenever I finished such a very hard to read old tome I need some easy romantic Jane Austen story ;) with her books I also started to read english literature in original language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

starring at over 100 people in restaurants, cafés and bars counting their laughters without ever being noticed ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm still young so I can't offer a lot of wise life experience but I'm good in popping out some scientific fun-facts (I never remeber the exam-important stuff) from time to time so you will maybe have some funny stories for your friends about that a bit crazy little biologist you hosted.

And of course someone who lend me his couch will always be invited to stay at my place in vienna (it is one of the most beautiful cities)
[as my flatmates are not so open for complet strangers as guests]

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia

Countries I’ve Lived In
