About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I on Couchsurfing? Simple! I have a passion for the art of travel, but it goes beyond that. Why is it that makes traveling so special? What makes me want to voyage to far and distant lands to see and experience more food, grassy knolls, mountains and buildings? What makes these things, which I can find at home, so exotic some where else?
....EASY PEASY!
Nothing would be transformed, made new or put into new light or perspective if it weren't people. It is our ability to exchange ideas, cultures and share experiences that makes traveling so intriguing. Couchsurfing allows you to immerse yourself and learn a bit more of the people, language and it's rich culture while building new valuable friendships. Couchsurfing enriches my experience as a traveler than I would ever get as a tourist.

Interests

*I love languages, I have a passion for it! Every time I learn a new word in another language, I feel like a spy or a secret agent because of how linguistic it makes me feel (Is that weird?).
*I feverishly enjoy cooking (therefor I enjoy eating( is that wrong?)). I'm enamored the idea that food can unite people and promotes family and fellowship. I also like that food can take you places. Can't quite make it to Paris right now? It's ok! Turn on music, whip up some onion soup, make a tart de pommes, close your eyes and for five seconds you are there! I've never been to India, but through food, I can trick my senses and spark my imagination as to what it could be. Food is life.
*I like learning. I constantly like acquiring new skills I can put to use. It can be from living minimally, living with out plastic to analyzing body language. The weirder the skill while maximizing usefulness, the better!
* People, I would have to put people with in one of my interest. (Most) People are just naturally intriguing.
