Open-minded, passionate about music, always up for new adventures. Member of the alphabet mafia. :-). I've lived in a few different countries and love meeting CSers. I'm now finally in a position where I can host people myself, so feel free to reach out to me if you need a place to crash.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Several years ago, when I was on exchange in the US, I couchsurfed for the first time during my trip across the west coast. It was such an amazing experience, that I would love to continue doing it here in The Hague (my hometown).

Interests

I love to read, although I don't have as much time for it as I would like. I also love coffee and wine (how original :-)) and I'm always up for going out, enjoying live music and concerts and meeting new people. I previously worked for an EU institution in Brussels, but I recently moved back to The Hague. I've also lived in the US (San Francisco & Virginia) and briefly lived in Spain.

Music, Movies, and Books

HAIM, Florence and The Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club, Disclosure, Acid Pauli, Foster The People, Kylie Minogue. I like pop, indie rock and electronic music.

Movies: I like some of the classics (A Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror Picture Show) and I'll never say no to a good comedy.

Books: politics, David Sedaris, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kept my plants alive throughout the many COVID lockdown(s).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently learning French, would be happy to teach you some Dutch basics (and swear words...).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a terrible cook, but I definitely wouldn't mind trying to cook a meal for you! I could also share some traditional, authentic Dutch Sinterklaas candy and bitterballen with you. I can offer a private sleeping space.
