About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking over Richmond, VA.
ABOUT ME
I've played in bands for most of my life. I'm active in the Girls Rock Camp movement, coordinating camps in two different cities and serving on the board of the Girls Rock Camp Alliance. I work as volunteer coordinator for a statewide domestic and sexual violence advocacy organization. I'm Loud Music Director for WRIR LP 97.3 community radio. I studied forestry in college and love hiking, camping, and other outdoorsy stuff. I do a lot of community organizing work. I book metal/punk/experimental/noise shows, though a little less now than I did when I was in Knoxville.
PHILOSOPHY
Drink a cup of coffee every day, don't trust anyone, and floss.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hundreds of bands have played at my house and slept on my couch. I love to cook for big groups of people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I played in touring bands for years, so I have slept in many and varied situations, some more palatable than others. From this I gained the ability to fall asleep anywhere, be it chair, van, bare concrete floor, etc.
