About Me
Do not believe that I am the typical Latino who dances Salsa and Bachata all day and is always radiating joy to everyone...wait! I think so, I have been dancing, competing and teaching at least 7 years, but it is not the only thing What I do at all.
I am an engineer by profession, entrepreneur by vocation, dancer and filmmaker by hobby, in fact I also love food, but my culinary skills are not the best, it must be because I lived in Chile for a long time eating junk food(Did I mention that I am Peruvian?) ... Changing the subject, I really like telling my experiences and listen to others, I am a very respectful person, friendly and helpful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of having to share and live with other people, of different culture, language and country, something very different from what you are used to when traveling on vacation, alone and safe, like any tourist, eat in expensive restaurants, stroll through the main streets, take some typical photos of museums and return to the native country, believing to have known everything, but in reality nothing is known.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done a couple of crazy things that I really don't regret but I should.
For example, I didn't know how to swim, in fact I have a lot of fear of sea water, but over time I had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii for 3 months and it was all sea and beautiful scenery, then one day, I decided to learn to swim, I asked my Hawaiian friends to teach me, then they took me to North Shore Oahu.
I had no idea what it was and they handed me a board, a mask, and they blessed me. North Shore is a coastal area with a relaxed atmosphere, is famous for strong waves, sharks and professional surfing contests, amazing isn't it?
I never understood, nor in which Mexican series did I see that a Latino with no experience in surfing and swimming, agreed to do what I did. Well in summary, I did not drown but I was very afraid, because some very big waves were coming, and I said this is my last day on this earth, clearly the wave threw me away, I drank water for about a week, but I survived ... I recommend that if you have friends and you have no idea how to overcome a specific fear, do not get carried away by them, look for a specialist to help you with your fears to overcome them step by step, I met a great surfer who helped me navigate in the waves and also to swim, I was never afraid of the sea again, in fact I also obtained a diving certificate in Hawaii, amazing isn't? . In fact, I want to tell you that I am quite risky, both for health companies and for old-age savings companies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to be able to teach a little of my culture, in this case we talk about dance, that you can know the rhythms of folklore as well as the Caribbean rhythms in this case, Salsa and Bachata.
I’d like to show you how amazing is Peruvian and Chilean food 😋
I would like to improve my English and German obviously learn a lot about the place I visit, both the language, food, culture and what it brings to my life in general.
I am a very patient, passionate and helpful person, who is available to the rest.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a home when they come to visit my house in Chile or Peru,
I can help with household chores if my help is required.
I am not lazy, I am very proactive.
I don't like being given anything, I like to earn it.
I have many skills both physical and intellectual, for example, if you have a business, I can help with marketing, digital and audiovisual.
If you want to learn something from my culture, I can teach it.
If you want to be my friend we can be what life wants us to be.
