About Me

I'm 20 at the time of writing this, currently situated in Greater Boston, Massachusetts. I'm a Venezolano by culture and experience but technically I am half Venezolano, half Armenian. I am an Eagle Scout, I speak Spanish and English fluently, I play a bunch of different instruments and sing, I'm a certified scuba diver, I like to sail in the summer and ski in the winter, and I am studying Economics and Political Science at the Commonwealth Honors College at UMass Amherst. When Im not at school/traveling I tutor in music, language, and writing, and I roll fat burritos at Chipotle!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a poor college student with a bad case of wanderlust.

Interests

The list of my interests are pretty much the list of things I can do, offer expertise in, and/or teach you in the teach, learn, share section!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
Reggae, Reggaeton, Folk, Funk, Jazz, Swing, Bachata, Salsa, Fusion, Rap/Hip-hop, Electronic

FILM:
I pretty much watch everything except for murder mystery FBI stuff. My favorite movies are "Hector in Search of Happiness," "Pulp Fiction," "The Usual Suspects," and "Y Tu Mama Tambien."

LITERATURE:
I read a lot of non-fiction and I really dont have a favorite book yet. The last book I read was H. Rider Haggard's "Allan Quatermain"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once played a muted piano for my friends band in front of a live audience of ~80.

Another time I was walking down a sidewalk in Suburbia, Massachusetts, and a man in a Knight costume ran up to me with a box of plastic forks, gave me one, and said, "Take this! the streets aren't safe..." and ran away. It was so strange.
