ABOUT ME

I almost finished my bachelor of history and after that I want to explore the world! I'm a guy who's trying to find other ways than the more conventional ways of pursuing a career after I've graduated. I take initiatives to connect people to do cool stuff, like offering workshops on personal leaderschip, dreams and more. I do these things with lots of enthusiasm! I'm very open to other people and the world for that matter, and my goal is to keep getting inspired and hopefully inspire other people.

PHILOSOPHY

The goal of my life (at least for now of course) is to keep getting to know myself better and better, and to use this (my personal capacities and skills) in the outside world to built a life that really has meaning. In this I want to help the people around me to get to know theirselves and develop to greater hights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted two people so far (who were really nice) and this summer I went on a 3 week during trip from Groningen to Berlin, Prague, Olomouc and Krakow, in which I couchsurfed. It was amazing!

Interessen

I'm interested in playing piano, cooking, personal leadership and spiritual living. I'm also interested in exploring the boundaries and doing unconventional stuff.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

For me the most inspiring book is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Stephen R. Covey. I also loved to read The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho), The Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle), and The Big Five for Life (John Strelecky). Also I loved to read all the Dan Brown books.
Music: Mumford and Sons, Acda en de Munnik (Dutch), Coldplay, Led Zeppelin.
Movies: too many, can't make a choice!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Last year I went canyoneering in the mountains of northern Portugal. This was absolute amazing! The pure clear water, the hot sun, the extreme climbing and abseiling and the people with whom I did the canyoneering all amounted to an unforgettable experience!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I want to learn about all the wonders of life, about a meaningfull life and about really getting to know yourself. I want to learn spiritual things like meditation and yoga, but also about how to lead a group and how to keep them motivated. I also really want to learn a third language: Japanese.
I maybe can teach other couchsurfers to play piano, to cook (super)healthy food, but also personal leadership and getting to know theirselves. I can teach people to not search the solutions in the outside world, but to look inwards for much better (and lasting) solutions.
