ABOUT ME

Since studying abroad in Spain for a year Sophomore year in college, I've spent time in Ecuador and 5 years teaching English in Colombia. I was in Bogota and a smaller city called Valledupar . I spent 2 years in Dallas trying to have a normal 9-5 teaching job, but it wasn’t long before I went back abroad.

June 2019 I booked a One way ticket to Australia and haven’t left . Instead of teaching, in working in a cafe and Au Pairing while I get to know beautiful Australia.

I’ve recently taken up diving and am OBSESSED with it.

I got started when an amazing host took me in last minute and I have enjoyed getting the chance to meet different people. I like learning about the world through another person's stories and experiences. When I had my own place I decided to pay my couch surfing experiences forward by hosting as well.

Interessen

I recently became PADI certified and love diving every chance I can get. Also, salsa dancing is a favorite hobby that I'm trying to perfect. I'm obsessed with tacos and brunch.

Made fake tickets to the Dancing with the Stars finale, then crashed the winner's celebration. It's a good story.

I'm a Spanish teacher, so if you wanted to brush up on your spanish, I could help you out with that. I've done quite a bit of solo backpack traveling, so I could give recommendations. I lived in Colombia for about 5 years, so will be more than happy to talk about Colombia and convince you to travel there.
