CURRENT MISSION:

My girlfriend, Mils, and I are on an adventure to the West Coast! We are hitchhiking from Denver with really no plan other than tossing up a thumb and meeting fun new people! Wish us luck :)

ABOUT ME:

I grew up a very sheltered child living in Louisiana, USA. I have been working very hard to unlearn all the rubbish that southern culture(and largely American culture) has clouded my mind with. I like to think I've made a lot of progress! I made the rank of Eagle in Boy Scouts, which taught me to be self reliant and resourceful. I am ENTP

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally, I joined to save cash on the road, but after staying with a few amazing host I've realized that it's about sharing our lives and learning (or unlearning) from each other's ideas and experiences. I've since been inspired to be more involved with everyone I meet! Thanks CS!

Music, Movies, and Books

Modest Mouse is all I need. But edm and metal give me fun vibes! I'm too restless to sit in front of a tv, but I do enjoy the occasional comedy movie. I've only recently picked up reading books by authors who make you think(and question), like Emerson, Dawkins, and Robert Greene(though it's hard to swallow most of his ideas, they seem to hold true in life. I like espionage books as well!

I want to eventually pursue a TEFL certification and teach abroad in many countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not much other than trade stories and have fun conversations. I am always down for getting out and having a good time, and I like to think that I'm good company :) I am also interested in learning to cook so if you trust me in your kitchen, I'll prepare a meal! I've been fixing computers since I was in high school, so if you are having any problems I'd love to take a crack at it!
