About Me

I was born in a small town and happened to be one of the minority. Grown up and raised different from most of my friends made me living beyond expectation. Life isn't always as easy as flipping hands or changing our direction in a sec. Eventhough I have been through a lot in life, moody is not my thing. Mom told me to always be and do good no matter what. I barely able to convince myself whether it's because of the struggles or the travel experience that left me marks or the people that I met along the way and I have learnt from.

Life has taught me a lot and I am still learning. It is a lifelong learning process. I got hurt, I made mistakes, I failed, I fell and I got rejected. But that doesn’t make me giving up and blaming. Nor does it harden my heart. In the contrary, I have become who I am today. I respect people, regardless of all the differences.

At one point, I realized that I need to love myself more and to want only the best for me. But it does not make me become a selfish person.

Traveling is merely about collecting airlines’ miles, taking photos and selfies or setting your feet on a certain lands or countries. It is much more about how your soul, heart and mind are profoundly moved as your body physically travels to another part of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I found it is nice and interest to meet people who want to experience staying with people that they did not know and learn how to share and live in diversity :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I still have very little experience in this Couch-surfing, I hosted few people. We hung out together, showed them around, traveled together, stories exchanged, laughed, made friends, coffee and food.

I also have experience surfed with few people when I travel. By far, they were great and unforgettable. CS helps me a lot to find the way and art of traveling :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived from deadly Tsunami in Aceh on 26 December 2004. I lived in the shore just about 150mtr from beach, that was unbelievable. One of my amazing things I have seen in my lifetime. You can read the story by copying this link :

Survived from another ocean tragedy. I went on a fisherman boat from Pulau Rote to Kupang, spent almost 5 hours on that boat and kept praying all the time. The 5mtr wave hits the engine and it was almost off in the middle of ocean. What a third chance of life :) *this was in June 2014

I got so many opportunities, i.e: traveling, working, and meeting great people in my life. I have more than one already, lol.
