ABOUT ME

New Zealand is the most beautiful country we have ever lived in, so why are we spending so much time on the other side of the world?
The abundance of history and the diversity of cultures over this side blows us away. We still chuckle when we get to say 'I'm off to Paris for the weekend' or when we say 'gracias' by mistake in Italy or when I have to explain myself with hand gestures only.
Each trip makes us a little more understanding, a little more patient and a lot more excited about learnng about other cultures and the people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been in Europe working and travelling and hosting for over 4 years, now it is time to some more serious travel on our way back in live in NZ. The plan is to travel for 8 months, starting with cycling in Europe, then backpacking in south and central america.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have visited a few couchsurfers through our travels, who have shown us around their city/town/village & given us local knowledge about where to go/see. We have had couchsurfers stay with us, and we try to give them the same experience in return. We really like the attitude and outlook on life that travelers have, usually there is a lot in common!
