ABOUT ME

i love to travel, although i haven't even come close to doing as much of it as i had planned on. time just moves so fast, and money so short. i love to experience things and i love adventure. i'm afraid of failure, but it doesn't tend to stop me from taking chances. i prefer honesty over formality, but never to the point of cruelty. i've found that when one gives, there comes a point when they receive. i don't necessarily do things for this reason, but i understand how it feels to have a benevolent hand reach for you when a situation demands it. and that's why i'm here. to see what other people are doing with their lives. other people like me. i want to hear stories and show people my city. and when it comes time for me to travel again, i want a couch. a couch and some waves.

PHILOSOPHY

i live my life in the pursuit of truth, even if it means sacrificing a little happiness.. but to my surprise, not all truth is sad... not at all. sometimes i think we just have to get past some sad things to really discover love in the fullest sense. i believe in feeling things out and discovering ones own heart, if for no other reason that to discover the hearts of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i'm new to couchsurfing, but i traveled through central america for 4 months over the winter. what i would have given to have known someone there.

i just started listening to a band called the faint. awesome. some long time favorites are: pedro the lion, Bright eyes, Ben harper, and mewithoutyou.
