I'm a student from Sheffield in the UK currently on the complete opposite side of the world travelling solo around New Zealand. Right now I'm in Queenstown, next stop Franz Josef and I'm spending a month in Auckland from June 12th. This is my second time travelling solo (I went to Thailand last year).

I like running, hiking, swimming and lifting weights. I'm an animal lover. I love music, especially live. I go to festivals every year (Glastonbury being the biggest highlight!) My music taste is pretty diverse (pop, indie, hip hop, anything).

I love food. I'm a vegetarian (mostly vegan but finding it tougher while travelling) but chilled about being around people cooking and eating whatever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had nothing but good reccomendations from other travellers, who say it's a great way to meet cool people and discover a place which is exactly what I want. I've had an account for a year but only just started to use it, hence my fairly sparse friends/reccomendations on here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a terrible cook but I'm super clean. I can share my sense of humour, cleaning skills, enthusiasm and non-homemade baked goods (trust me you will thank me for not subjecting you to my own baking)!
