Wow, it's been some time - I've been a not-too-active member of this amazing community since 2011.

Travelling has always been a passion of mine - during university I had the chance to spend 3 months in the U.S., and since then I've always tried to organize 1-2 trips / year to visit new countries and know more about their cultures. One thing I have on my bucket list is to visit every EU capital - I'm currently at 13, so I still have plenty of places to go.

I was lucky enough to find my wonderful husband and we have a patchwork family - we're raising 3 kids together: 2 teenagers from his previous marriage and one little girl who is currently learning how to roll over both ways. :D Being a half-new mother is quite a challenge but I'm enjoying most parts of it. :)

I do need diversity. I love people. I love kindness, empathy, joy, laughs, weirdness, honesty, open-mindedness. I try treating everyone as I wanna be treated. I'm getting seriously emotionally involved in every book, movie and series that I read/see, and my family and my friends are the most important thing in my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been a surfer twice - and those were wonderful, I'm truly amazed by the people on couchsurfing. Never hosted anyone (my place is not suitable for that unfortunately with 3 kids and 2 cats), but I'm glad to give some tips and show people around in Budapest. :)

- books: East of Eden by Steinbeck; the Harry Potter books had a great influence on my life, because I grew up with them, so I still read fanfics sometimes; Stephen King novels, most books of Robert Merle, LOTR trilogy, The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, Foam of the Days by Boris Vian, and some hungarian writers as well.

- music: Lyrics are really important to me, mainly if the song is in my native language. So though I enjoy many kinds of music, my all-time favourites are two hungarian bands - 30Y and Vad Fruttik. Both of these groups helped me through a lot of stuff - they're kind of therapeutic for me in a really good way.
Besides, a lot of other stuff - mainly pop and rock, but I'm not picky, I like a lot of songs regardless of the genre. I love live music, so I attend as many concerts as I can.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

I don't really know what to write here because a lot of times I feel that my life is amazing - I'm really lucky to have so many incredible people around me.

Highlights:
- seeing the sea for the first time in Nice, France
- standing in the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles
- visiting the Grand Canyon
- visiting Skocjan Cave in Slovenia
- Italian cities in general
- boat tour and visiting a small island in Croatia
- a one-day tour near Valencia to visit hidden waterfalls and lakes
- seeing David Tennant in a play in London
- also being a part of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who celebration
