Interests

I am currently an English-as-a-foreign-language teacher in the North of Morocco, but discussing and writing about spirituality, listening to techno music, personal development, and cultural exploration are among my passions. Here in my city of Tetouan, I love to seek out the "everyday, of the people" experiences, e.g., "average Joe" food venues, traditional arts, etc. In short, whatever reveals the essential nature of the people and their way of life, however complex or understated.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Watching the sunrise from Mount Haleakala on Maui, Hawaii
2. Standing atop the ridge overlooking the city of Fez, Morocco for the first time as the adhan (call to prayer) of dozens of mosques sounded off in staggered succession, creating a spiritual symphony.
3. Studied energy mediation for 7 years.
