ABOUT ME

Hey everbody! we are very sorry but we can not host right now. Rosie just started her first year of teaching and it is brutal, so we have to postpone all surfing for a month or two. We would still love to meet you if we have the time though cause we love stories! So let us know if your board!
We have lived in Memphis for a few years now. Woah, it has flown by! Memphis gets a lot of flack for crime but it's such a neat city. There is always something going on here. Rosie is a third grade teacher at a school here in Memphis. She got her Masters in Reading and could talk about books and interesting things about reading all day. We love books! Alex is an entrepreneur! He is a jack of all trades. A true handy man. He works at fleet feet, a running shop here in memphis. We've traveled a little and know there is no other experience like it. We try to live simple and love sharing our stories with others. We would travel all the time if we could but we have to have real jobs too. We are amateur homesteaders who love the summer because of the farmers market! We also eat vegan about 50% of the time. We're willing to try any new foods. We try and grow some things on our own but we only have so much room to work with living in an overgrown forest of a house. We love just about anything and everything. We're pretty easy going! Please come stay with us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We both have had awesome Couchsurfing experiences all around the country and love to make new ones!
We also love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

Interests

We love about anything there is to do. Being outside is our favorite so hiking, biking, climbing, running, volleyball, swimming, etc...Life is great when you have people to experience it with so we think as long as you have new people meet then life is good. We love change and we've seen it in our lives and in people we come in contact with. If we can help you in any way we will not hesitate. Rosie can't seem to drink enough coffee and finding a new local coffeeshop is something we both love. Reading, making crafts, writing.... there's just not enough time to fit in everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a TOMS shoe drop in Argentina that was incredible. We gave away 3,000 shoes and saw things I could never have imagined.
Buena Vista, Colorado became my home for a summer and I was surrounded by the most beautiful peaks. I slept under the stars and paddled the Arkansas River every single day!
I joined Americrps NCCC in 2010 and fought fire in California for ten months.
We took a month long road trip from California, up the coast to Washington, and then made our way across the country to Kentucky in 2012.
