We are a couple, I'm Portuguese and Antonio is Spanish. We are sociable, friendly and open minded. We love meeting people from different places
and learning about different lifestyles.
We just came back from over two years traveling through latin America, middle east and Asia. Now we are settling down in Portugal for a while.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had many incredible experiences both as guests and hosts! Couchsurfing is now a very important part of our travels! Although its a bit disappointing that CS became a for-profit corporation.

Some good films: Matrix, Fight Club, Goodbye Lenin, but what we really like are good documentaries.
Some good bands: Police, Placebo, Radiohead, Muse, The Lumineers, Linus Young, Mumford and sons, The XX, The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Heroes del Silencio, Chambao, Amparanoia, Deolinda, Ojos de brujo (...).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling/camping trips around french lakes.
Going to a wedding in India.
Hitchhiking through the Vietnamese/Lao border.
Unexpectedly finding wild strawberries in Estonia.
Northern lights from our kitchen window in Sweden.
Hiking through the guatemalian jungle for 6 days without a guide to see Mayan ruins.
Vulcano Fuego in Guatemala erupting.
Hot water waterfalls in El Salvador.
Snorkeling with turtles in México.
Spending time with remote comunities in Nicaragua.
Picking tea in the northeast of Turkey.
Meeting the most hospitable people all over Uzbekistan countryside.
