关于我

Hi! I’m a traveler who connects with places through cycling and curiosity. I explore historic towns, urban layers, and routes where every turn reveals a story — an Art Nouveau facade, a Soviet mosaic, an old bridge still carrying centuries of memory.

At home, I recharge through singing with friends, reading (lately biblical archaeology and Gogol’s Dead Souls), and practicing classic massage techniques I learned in 2020. I value meaningful conversations more than small talk and prefer thoughtful exchanges over crowded events.

By profession, I teach programming and mathematics. I enjoy turning complex ideas into clear logic — whether in the classroom or in everyday discussions.

I’m open to new experiences within my physical limits and consistent with my Christian values. I’m active in my local church, and if this interests you, I’m glad to share this part of my life.

I don’t drink alcohol, smoke, or use drugs.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m here for genuine, unhurried cultural exchange.

As a guest, I appreciate hosts who share their everyday world — not just landmarks, but habits, routines, and perspectives. Some of my best experiences came from small details: a uniquely decorated apartment, a hidden cycling route, a quiet conversation after a long walk. I prefer to experience your authentic everyday life rather than something arranged for a guest.

As a host in Moscow, I enjoy showing both well-known landmarks and lesser-known corners of the city, as well as exploring scenic bike routes, especially in nature. I value meaningful conversation, shared activities, and learning from each other’s experiences.

I meet people without hosting or guesting too, so we can practice anything from my list of interests or your list according my rules.

兴趣

Cycling is central to my travels. I’ve completed long-distance rides including:

1,200 km from St. Petersburg to Moscow

1,000 km from Stuttgart to Budapest

2,500 km across South Korea

I enjoy walking long distances (40+ km in a day), visiting historic thermal baths and saunas, exploring urban design, and discussing philosophy — from dialectics to how cities reflect social structures.

Mathematics and programming remain intellectual passions. I like puzzles, optimization problems, and breaking down complex systems.

I play piano and guitar casually and enjoy singing. If you play music, we can try a duet.

Since 1995, I’ve been involved in church life and related community activities.

音乐、电影和书籍

My tastes are eclectic.

Music ranges from Soviet film soundtracks to anime scores, especially Studio Ghibli. I appreciate atmosphere and emotional depth.

Films I enjoy include: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Good Night, and Good Luck, Spirited away.

I’m drawn to stories that explore ideas and moral tension.

In literature, I value works that question society and belief — Gogol’s Dead Souls, essays on biblical archaeology, and books that focus on “why” rather than just “what.”

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’ve helped many students become skilled programmers by guiding them through complex mathematical and coding concepts.

I’ve also completed several long-distance cycling journeys across Europe and Asia, learning persistence and the value of slow travel along the way.

教,学,和分享

I teach programming and mathematics and enjoy explaining ideas clearly and efficiently.

I’m always learning from others — through travel stories, daily routines, or cultural habits. I can share insights about effective learning, minimalism, fitness, cycling travel, and structured thinking.

I appreciate conversations that explore ideas in depth.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

As a guest, I bring curiosity, conversation, and shared activity.

We can: explore the city by bike or on foot, discuss philosophy, urban design, or programming, exchange language practice, play music together, do fitness activity, for example, yoga, running, just sit ups or push ups and so on.

I also practice classic massage techniques and can offer a session if you’re interested — your feedback helps me improve.

Mostly, I value sincere connection: deep conversation, shared silence, or discovering a place together without rigid plans.
