About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Work to live, not live to work
ABOUT ME
The first thing that you used to have to know about me was that I play Ultimate Frisbee. This isn't true any more.
The new first thing, is that my life changed dramatically on 25th March 2008. That was the day I met Lori.
We followed our hearts and are now married. This required me to emigrate. It's hard to leave family and friends behind, but she's worth it. No regrets.
Aside from that I'm warm, sociable, young at heart, laid-back, and free-spirited.
I look forward to meeting similar people.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in being open-minded and optimistic and seeing where life may take you. The more people I meet along my journey the better!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As is the way of the World, Lori and I are now parents. We are working on honing those skills before re-entering the Couchsurfing hosting scene. We try to use our $$ wisely and would prefer to meet new people and socialize instead of paying for hotels!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
What was meant to be one night in Poland turned in to three and some very fond memories...
...then I was messaged late on Sunday evening and the following Wednesday I hosted a delightful Canadian couple...
...then I looked after a Frenchman with a passion for getting away...
...then I met with other Plymouth, UK couchsurfers...
...then my newlywed wife and I spent out honeymoon(!) couchsurfing in Michigan and made some friends (will be going back as soon as poss)...
...then me and 6 of my team mates CS'd in Minneapolis...

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots, especially those that make me laugh or cry. I'll watch anything that Sir David Attenborough features in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunrise in Italy was perfect. It was the start of Something Great. The end is nowhere near.
We're now married. The end is still nowhere near.
Teach, Learn, Share
Before throwing away already-juiced lemon skins, microwave them for a minute on high power. It'll freshen up your whole kitchen.
