About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover and enjoy the world. To learn about and from its people, including myself. To explore not only the famous sights, but also to seek out unique experiences. To take opportunity by the horns. To leave footprints in a positive way.
ABOUT ME
I see myself as a free-spirited, fun-loving, optimistic person. I'm very outgoing and I love getting to know people and learning about their different cultures. I like to study languages, and would like to find more ways to use them!
In 2009, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I absolutely fell in love with the cobblestone streets. It was my first time in Europe, and I've had the urge to travel ever since.
My goal is to spread joy and happiness in simple ways. I want to leave each person happier than they were when I encountered them. :)
PHILOSOPHY
"There's no way to happiness; happiness is the way." --Wayne Dyer
"Success is often the result of taking a misstep in the right direction." --Al Bernstein
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars" -- Les Brown
"Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted." --John Lennon
"The difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson." --Tom Bodett
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately, I am unable to host surfers due to my current living situation, but I would love to meet new people and share the places I know with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm still new to CouchSurfing. I heard about it from a coworker after I came back from studying abroad in Italy.
